AccessPointHostnames
At Dartmouth College, we replace access-point names with a name that is useful to a researcher from outside Dartmouth. For instance, an access point in BBB Library, such as bbb6-ap, is renamed LibBldg13AP4, indicating that it is AP number 4, in the 13th building of type library. Each building is randomly numbered according to type, and the APs are randomly assigned within that building. |
